Und zwar bare-back! Bare-back, barfuß und in traditioneller Mahout-Kluft.

This was our first elephant trekking experience, and it couldnt have been better. Real Jungle Book nostalgia :) Our trip to elephant land was only 1 and a half hours through jungle roads. Considering its seclusion, its quite close to Chiangmai. The farm is nestled in the hills and jungle valleys. Quiet, peaceful, and catered perfectly for an up-close, intimate, and authentic elephant engagement. Small groups are a bonus since it gives you more time with the elephants. Short jungle trek with them to see how they naturally live, and a quick dip in the mud pool. Finished with a picture perfect waterfall visit. Lunch and refreshments were excellent. Staff were helpful, knowlegdable and really seemed to love showing tourists their homeland. Camera man did an excellent job! We didnt have to worry about taking photos of our own. The photos are available on their website the same night, and they turned out great. We did not ride the elephants, and we saw NO signs of animal abuse. It seemed the goal of the whole operation was to ensure a good experience, and keep happy and healthy elephants. I give an A++

We took the 1 day jungle trek. The elephant ride was the highlight for sure. The elephants are well cared for and humanely treated. The waterfall and bamboo raft trip were also enjoyable.

The tour guide was informative and a fund guide. Thanks!

Just came back from Thailand and the “2 Day Elephant Training and Trekking” with Toto was the best part of our holiday! Riding an elephant bareback through the jungle was a life-time experience. The stop at the waterfall was refreshing and soaking in the hot springs was relaxing. After a short hike we reached the village where we stayed overnight. The dinner was amazing and the life of the village people was fascinating. On the next day we did a 3-4 hour hike over Mama and Papa mountain with stunning views over the jungle. The trip was finished with 2 hour bamboo rafting down the river. This was so beautiful and peaceful, better than any documentary on television.
Thank you Toto and crew!

What can we say but the best experience ever. We want to thank everyone for their hospitality and for making us feel so welcome.

We can not recommend this enough and Toto makes the whole experience special. We took the 2 day treck and did as much in 2 days as you could in a lifetime.

The only regret we had is that we couldn’t go for longer. We will definitely be back.
