only walk - one day trip (trekking & waterfall)

 Eco-tourism, jungle trekking about 3.30-4 hours to see waterfall and visit Karen village.




Pick up from your hotel 08:00 am. 2hr drive south through open countryside, scenic mountains and lush jungle. Pass rice terraces, traditional villages and farmland on your way to the edges of the Inthanon mountain range. Trek through thick, green jungle in year-round cool climate. Learn about tropical ecosystems from your local guides.

Lunch is served traditional jungle-style.

After lunch, trek another 2hrs to the Karen hill-tribe village. From Myanmar (Burma), the Karen are the largest hill-tribe people in Thailand, found mostly in the mountainous regions around Chiang Mai. Famed for their subsistence farming, vivid culture, animism and friendly nature, they prize friendship, talking and the occasional drink. Learn more about these fascinating people before driving back to Chiang Mai, arriving approx. 18:00 pm.
